This past June we drove down to California for a little family vacation! I'm not going to lie...I was a little nervous about how the boys would do driving all the way there in one day, but they were AWESOME! I couldn't believe it...no fighting, complaining, or meltdowns! The boys loved every minute of it...and if you can't tell they were a little excited about the pool at Aunt Julie's...hence the snorkeling gear they decided to put on before we even got to Vegas :)
The boys more or less lived in the pool the whole time we were there...
It was an awesome vacation, and we all can't wait to do it again! Stay tuned for more from our California vacation...
If you want some serious summer entertainment...this is it! When my sister and I were kids we had one of these bubble makers from Klutz, so when I saw it again, I knew I had to get it for the boys. Bonus...they changed the recipe so you no longer have to try and find glycerin :)
Here's the recipe... 12 cups water 1 cup liquid dish soap (best is Joy, 2nd best Dawn, 3rd choice Ivory) 1 cup cornstarch 2 tablespoons baking powder Just stir it all together in a big bucket and skim off the foam (foam is bad for bubbles)
Josh and I were married on April 2, 2005 after meeting at ISU. We have two little guys. Quinten was born September 29, 2005 and Gavin was born April 11, 2008. We have a house in Blackfoot where Josh works as a rigger at INL and I stay home with the boys.
